Co-hosted with Fashion Revolution, our upcoming make-a-thek community call, Crafting Connected Communities, continues the conversations that emerged from our first make-a-thek Bus Tour, bringing some of the inspiring practices we encountered along the way back to the wider community. Together, we will explore how materials, textile practices and material knowledge can inspire making, experimentation and new forms of learning in community spaces.
We will hear from two practitioners joining us from Prague: Valérie Záhonová, a material consultant from matériO’, and Zuzana Šmrkovská, a textile designer from Nit Lab. Together, their work opens up a wider conversation about how craft and materials can help us create more connected spaces for making and learning.
Date & Time:
Wednesday, 16 September 2026, 14:00 CET
