The Global Innovation Gathering Community has reached a significant milestone, surpassing 200 members. During various "Meet the Members" calls, numerous members had the chance to connect and share insights into their ongoing projects as well as opportunities to co-work. Additionally, Whatsapp Community Focus Groups have been initiated, including a fundraising group where members get to exchange and discuss funding opportunities.

To be able to welcome GIG new onboarded members more prominently, an onboarding toolkit is being developed to ensure easy integration; providing essential information about GIG as an organization as well as guidance on the initial steps to take as part of this community.
|
GIGweek24, took place in Berlin last June, providing an opportunity for some members to attend re:publica24 and hold sessions at the makerspace. Members who participated in GIGweek24 also got the chance to meet in person, network and collaborate. This event also played a crucial role in introducing a large group of nominees who are prepared to join the GIG Community.

- San3a Tech's Milestone: 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of Maker Faire Cairo, hosted by San3a Tech. The event is set for next April in Cairo.
- Hagush Expansion: The Pay Later financing program by Hagush is expanding to additional countries, broadening its impact.
- Brilliant Blue 2024: This hybrid event focuses on the Blue Economy and is opening for registration soon. Learn More

GIG invites potential collaborators to join them in further shaping their shared journey, contributing not only to the advancement of their organization, but also to the empowerment of countless innovators around the globe.

there are two ways you can support GIG today π
|
- Individuals Can Become Supporting Members for as little as 30 EUR per year. However, the organization encourages a higher annual donation depending on the individual's means.
- Organizations Can Become Supporting Members starting with a donation of 300 EUR per year. This fee is suggested for organizations with less than 50 employees and/or have an annual budget of less than 1 million EUR. Organizations with more than 50 employees and/or have an annual budget of more than 1 million EUR are encouraged to donate a minimum of 3000 EUR per year.
