| About it | Orange Digital Center Egypt Established and open to the public in 2021, Egypt ODC is an Innovative Public-Private Partnership on Digital Education and Training Strategic Alliance between the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) and Orange. It’s a state-of-the-art technology and innovation hub established for digital education training in Egypt with the aim of elevating young people’s employability and preparing them to the Market as well as empowering social and technological entrepreneurship. ODC brings together a coding school, a hardware fabrication lab and a start-up accelerator. Fab Lab As one of the pillars forming Orange technology and innovation hub, We are a digital manufacturing workshop that enables people to prototype and learn by “Doing”. A fab lab (fabrication laboratory) is a small-scale workshop offering (personal) digital fabrication. A fab lab is equipped with an array of flexible tools and machines like 3D Printers, laser cutters and electronics bench, with the aim to make “almost anything”. Moreover, Fab Lab is an open shared space where you learn, make and share with a large community of makers, experts, educators, engineers, entrepreneurs and more. |
