ENSEMBLE is a network of over 30 creative and productive spaces across Barcelona’s metropolitan area, including Fab Labs, makerspaces, craft centers, coworkings, and social associations. It connects infrastructures, knowledge, and communities, promoting local production, social innovation, and community-driven projects. The network organizes co-creation workshops, public events and discussions, collaborative prototyping, capacity-building programs, and community initiatives, combining digital fabrication, traditional practices, and open technologies to foster social impact.

ENSEMBLE is guided by values that honor traditional skills and cultural heritage, using digital tools to complement (not replace) ancestral knowledge. It promotes circularity by encouraging sustainable practices and reconnecting production with natural and social cycles. Collaboration is central, creating alliances, sharing knowledge, and building safe, inclusive spaces for collective innovation. Inclusion and diversity are celebrated, fostering cohesion across cultures, generations, and abilities.
