Center Rog is a public creative hub in Ljubljana that brings together makers, designers, artists, and innovators. It offers a large makerspace with digital fabrication tools, studios, coworking areas, and programs that support experimentation, prototyping, and community-driven projects

But soon I will have my own company, with the intention of engaging in projects with greater impact and that are more closely aligned with my capabilities and aspirations.

MAKERS vs COVID-19
About the project

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Viva Lab, a fablab I founded in Porto, Portugal, launched the initiative “Makers vs COVID-19,” collaborating with local hospitals such as Hospital de Santo António and Hospital de São João, the Porto City Council, and several industry partners to address urgent shortages in the health sector. The maker community rapidly mobilised to design and fabricate protective equipment for frontline professionals, including full-face shields, protective goggles, and face masks.

In total, the initiative produced and distributed over 13,000 units of protective equipment across Portugal. Additionally, tens of thousands more were manufactured worldwide using the open-source models and production workflows developed by the team.
