Written by We are looking forward to our 12th Global Innovation Gathering in Berlin. Through our long lasting partnership with re:publica GIG is inviting innovators from our network to Berlin. At re:publica GIG will be hosting the makerspace and related content like a repair café addressing global innovation and sustainability topics. In addition to GIGs presence at re:publica, we are planning several events in Berlin to connect our members with different stakeholders in the city:

Following the re:publica event days (May 26th-28th) GIG will continue its programme to ensure our members visiting from Africa, Asia and South America get to connect with each other and people not attending re:publica. On the 29th we will visit different innovative places in Berlin including the VORN Sustainable Fashion Hub with its urban micro-knitting factory and on the 30th we will engage in a day of peer learning and workshops provided by the GIG community, partners and friends at our own office event space in Spreefeld:
