What we do:
– developing Open Source Hardware (OSH)
– education in the field of OSH (with Open Educational Resources of course 🙂 )
– community-based assessment of OSH according to DIN SPEC 3105-2
– support in legal issues (licensing, patent law, liability etc.)
– support in the funding acquisition for OSH projects
– provision and development of IT infrastructure for OSH development
– provision and development of physical infrastructure (OpenEcoLabs, Open Culture Office)
– hub for community networking
– active driver for political demands to support open source principles
